Rodney Shimogawa:

When working with Rodney Shimogawa, you can expect a five star experience, regardless of price point. Based out of John L. Scott’s Snohomish office, Rodney often helps clients in Everett, Lake Stevens, Marysville, Bothell, Mill Creek, Snohomish, Lake Stevens and Arlington. Before becoming a broker in 2014, Rodney owned and managed a manufacturing company.

Rodney specializes in resale and pre-sale, investment properties, wholesale and distressed properties. He is focused on providing amazing service and building trusted relationships that last well past the transaction. He appreciates the opportunity he has as a broker to help others achieve their homeownership goals and grow their investment portfolio. When working with sellers, he often uses video and social media to showcase their property.

Giving back to the community is extremely important to Rodney. He is particularly invested in supporting troubled youth, currently serving on a truancy board for the City of Everett. In the winter, he enjoys snowboarding with his family, and when weather permits, you’ll find him outside boating or at the nearest golf course.

Everett was once a lumber town, and it is maybe best known as the place where Boeing builds some of its most popular airplanes, but the city is so much more than that.

Everett is also home to some of the prettiest views of Puget Sound and some of the nicest people you’ll ever meet. Everett’s economy is strong. In addition to Boeing—fun fact: the airplane assembly facility is the largest building in the world by volume—we’re also home to Naval Station Everett, the west coasts’ largest marina, and the Xfinity events center, a conference and convention center that hosts events that used to be held at Key Arena in Seattle.

But Everett’s cultural scene is healthy as well. Our theaters and performing arts centers thrive, and our downtown library is a beacon to book lovers from throughout the community. If outdoor recreation is more your speed, our parks and marinas provide opportunities for boating, hiking, birdwatching, and walking through splendid gardens and arboretums.

Education is important to Everett residents. Our schools boasts a 94% graduation rate. And we have several higher learning opportunities through community colleges and satellite campuses for both Washington State University and Western Washington University.

Homes in Everett range from mid century and classics to new construction. Many homes have a view of Puget Sound and the Olympic Mountains. If you’d like to learn more about Everett, let us know. We’d love to show you around and help you find your perfect home.

Real Estate Agent Reviews

“Rodney was a tremendous help toward selling my house, and he would be the first person I would call for real estate related issues. He was able to find a buyer right away, and come up with a good selling price, and a nice profit for me.”

“As an investor, I have a very high standard for real estate agents that I choose to work with, and I have worked with over 20 agents in the area. Rodney is a top one percent agent. His responsiveness is second to none. Mornings, evenings, and weekends Rodney is always reachable via email or text. Rodney knows the market inside and out and that's crucial from an investment perspective. Overall, I think I got very lucky when I met Rodney and decided to work with him."

“Rodney is a really great agent to work with. Over the past three years I have worked with him to buy and sell a house and recently purchase a piece of property. He is very prompt in replying to any question you may have. He communicates directly with your lender, which has seemed to expedite the closing process. He is very accessible, I've met with him as early as 8 a.m. to as late as 8 p.m. all days of the week. He's very knowledgeable, I've only had a couple of questions that he didn't already know the answer to, and for those questions he had an answer back to me within the day. And lastly, he is a friendly person who is very easy to work with; I would recommend him to anybody."

“Rodney was very impressive and had great knowledge of real estate. He is always there when you need him, and never missed a call. He’s helpful, friendly and makes sure to update you on the progress along the way. Great personality. Thank you, Rodney."
